Data We Collect
We collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, pharmacy/agency details, and FSSAI license documents (for Sellers seeking verification), to create your account, process orders, communicate with sellers, manage subscriptions and improve our platform experience. Sellers who purchase subscription plans also have payment transaction references stored for record-keeping.
Data Security
All user information, order details, chat conversations and staff account permissions are protected using secure authentication and role-based access controls. Only the buyer and the assigned seller (or authorized staff of that seller) can access an order's details and chat history. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing and are never visible to our team.
Information Sharing
Your personal information is never sold or rented to third parties. Your contact and delivery information is shared only with the verified pharmacy responsible for fulfilling your order. Payments made toward Seller subscriptions are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway, in accordance with their own privacy and security standards.
Notifications, Emails & Reminders
We send in-app notifications and transactional emails for order updates, subscription activation, plan expiry reminders, and optional medicine refill reminders you choose to set. We use your registered email address (via secure SMTP) only for these purposes and for account-related communication such as password resets — never for third-party marketing.
Reviews & Public Store Information
When you leave a rating or review for a medicine, your username and review text become visible to other users on that product's page. A Seller's agency name, verification status and store analytics summary (visible only to the Seller themselves) are used to display their storefront to customers. Individual visitor or sales analytics are never shared with other sellers or the public.
Cookies & Session Management
DawaiSetu uses browser cookies and secure sessions to keep you logged in, protect against cross-site request forgery, remember your preferences, and provide a faster browsing experience — without storing sensitive medical information inside cookies.
